The notes of last year
It's near the end of the Chinese New Year. Ha! I'm still alive! :D
So I make this short list about some importants things which happened last year, and also my Chinese new year resolution. :P

1. In school, I took 17 courses last semester. And I still got 16 courses this semester. I will have to take more than 10 courses next year. I only hope I can graduate on time.

2. Last year my sister and I both got a boyfriend!

3. Near the middle of last year, I decided I wanted to go to the graduate school for advanced studying on English, while my major subject in college was Chinese. I have to study very hard to make my wish come true. It's become the most important thing to me for a year. And if I ever achieved it, I believe it would be the most important change in my life.

As for my friends on the web, I really didn't forget you, especially Ange. :) And I can't believe you are getting married!! When did that happen? I didn't know that until today. But still, you have my late blessing. ^^""
I still checked my friends' journals when I had free time. I sincerely hope one day, I would be free to do whatever I want, which means I could put more efforts into the LJ thing.

That would be all.

Congrats on getting a boyfriend! :D I know it can either be 'congrats' or 'uh-oh,' hehe, but here's to good luck and a wonderful future! *hugs*

My fiance Tom and I were engaged for about three years -- we have been together for four and a half years now. Our love story revolves around legal stuff a lot (me getting a visa and things like that) so it's a bit complicated to explain unless you're willing to have me send you a ten-page long email. LOL. But the short version is that I was prohibited to enter the US for a few years due to legal issues (nothing bad, just lots of inconveniences), and Tom and I were on long distance for all those years. Last Christmas (2004) we finally heard from the embassy that I had received a visa to enter the US, so we flew back here (San Diego) immediately. I would have to be married within 90 days or else I'd get deported back to Indonesia. We performed the civil wedding last Friday; it wasn't a huge wedding like people normally do, it's a wedding we have to do to tackle paperwork basically. The real wedding ceremony will be hosted some time in 2007, once Tom graduates from uni (he majors in Architecture). :)

I guess that the reason you never really read about this marriage thing on my LJ is because I only mention about it every now and then -- most of the time I bitched about the visa/legal issues thing that held up our marriage. Also, people who are subscribed to my LJ already knew about Tom and I so whenever I mentioned about the 'visa thing' that could be considered marriage-related. LOL. I don't know if I'm making much sense right now... *ack* But hey, thanks soooooo much for the congrats!!! :D We'll be posting pictures some time soon if you're interested.

Whoa! Thank you for your congratuation! :D My boyfriend treats me well, and I think he really likes me a lot. I am lucky!

And here I always thought Tom was one of your good friends. LOL! I knew you were engaged, but I never knew it was Tom you were engaged to. Now I know that. And congraduate again! So does it mean that you can offically stay in America for however long you want it be?

I had checked out your pictures, the Valentine pictures. Oh you look soooo good! I like the last picture. You are very pretty in it. Oh and Tom looks like a nice guy. You two make a happy and lovely couple.

Now my roommate is telling me to hurry to catch up with her, so I better go.

Congraduation again! I do hope that you will lead a happy life.
